Our Stiebel Eltron range includes instantaneous hot water systems, electric storage hot water systems, and heat pump water heaters.
Stiebel Eltron Electric Units
The small instant or storage electric units are perfect for use in office kitchens, granny flats, or apartments, while the heat pump range is one of the most efficient on the market. With 3 phase or single phase power options, easy installation, and energy-efficient design, Stiebel Eltron hot water systems are the perfect solution for any home or business in Brisbane.
Stiebel Eltron tankless design units
Our compact tankless design units are perfect for use in small kitchens or granny flats. With electric power, they are easy to install almost anywhere, and no ventilation is required. The temperature is preset at the unit, so no tempering valve is needed. We also offer single point of use electric storage hot water units, which are ideal for use in isolated areas of the building or home. No ventilation is required, making them perfect for convenient under-sink installation.
Stiebel Eltron heat pump water heaters
If you’re looking to save on your home water heating costs in Brisbane, our Stiebel Eltron heat pump water heaters are the perfect solution. With the ability to save up to 75% on your water heating costs when upgrading from old-style electric storage hot water systems, they are a great investment. They can also be connected to your solar power system for increased efficiency and green energy use. The insulated tank reduces heat loss associated with storage hot water, minimising reheating requirements and keeping operating costs low. With 220L or 302L tank size options, our heat pump water heaters are German engineered for Australian conditions and are eligible for STCs or energy-efficient appliance installation government rebates.

Stiebel Eltron History
STIEBEL ELTRON was founded in 1924 by Dr. Theodor Stiebel in Berlin, Germany. The first product developed by the company was a ring-type immersion heater. Over time, the range of appliances was expanded to include small instantaneous water heaters, overflow heaters, pressure-type hot water appliances, and storage boilers.
In 1934, the company moved to larger premises in Berlin and continued to build a reputation for high-quality products. During World War II, the company moved to Holzminden, Germany, and in 1944, new production halls were built. The production of non-electrical appliances, including saucepans, frying pans, linen sprinklers, and irons, began the following year.
In 1949, STIEBEL ELTRON launched the DH18, the first hydraulic instantaneous water heater of a new generation. The company also introduced electric boilers to its range. The first aircraft kitchenettes were built in 1952, and the first SNU compact storage heater was built in 1957. Dr. Theodor Stiebel passed away in 1960, and in the same year, STIEBEL ELTRON sales passed the DM 100 million milestone.
In 1976, STIEBEL ELTRON began development and production of heat pumps and established itself as the market leader in Germany. In 1977, the company launched its first solar products, including high-performance flat plate collectors and hot water tanks. Finally, in 1987, STIEBEL ELTRON launched the DHE, the first all-electronic instantaneous water heater in the world.
Stiebel Eltron in Australia
Stiebel Eltron, a German company founded in 1924, arrived in Australia in 1995 with a focus on energy-efficient home comfort solutions. In 1996, the Brisbane office opened, and electric instantaneous water heaters were launched, followed by a Perth office and a Sydney office in time for the 2000 Olympics.
In 2006, Stiebel Eltron introduced the WWK heat pumps, and in 2016, the New Zealand subsidiary was launched. Today, Stiebel Eltron stands at the forefront of hot water, heating, cooling, and ventilation design and manufacture, with products like hot water heat pumps and electric instantaneous water heaters leading an energy revolution as the largest sales categories.
Although entrenched attitudes towards gas remain prevalent, Stiebel Eltron believes in an all-electric future for Australia, and the transition to such a future is within reach. With ventilation introduced as the new frontier of energy efficiency, Stiebel Eltron’s future is powered by a holistic one-stop approach, where energy efficiency and comfort lead the way.
